The first Crop Production Clinic of 2026 will be held Jan. 7 at the Hampton Inn & Suites, Conference Center in Scottsbluff. The clinics will be held across Nebraska at eight locations, with the first one in Scottsbluff.
The clinics have been serving ag producers across Nebraska since 1974, when they were known as Crop Protection Clinics. Around 2009, the name changed to Crop Production Clinics but still provides producers with updated information and education.
“They'll feature live presentations about research updates and information that's specifically tailored to regional crop issues and grower interests,” said Joshua Villazana, Nebraska Extension Educator and a coordinator for the event. “It’s also an opportunity for them to recertify for commercial, non-commercial, and private pesticide applicator licenses.” He added that this year, the only locations with second room presentations will be Norfolk, Kearney, and York.
Cost is $110, which includes lunch and a weed guide.
